Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Divine Journey (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mindfulness and personal growth mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the Service).

1. Introduction

Divine Journey is a daily wellness and personal growth app. It helps you align your energy through quotes, affirmations, rituals, reflection prompts, gratitude journaling, guided practices, and personal library collections.

We know your journey is personal. This policy is written to be clear about what information we handle, especially the content you create—such as journal entries, rituals, and saved wisdom—which may be stored on your device, synced to your account in the cloud when you are signed in, or both.

By using Divine Journey, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Divine Journey. We group it as follows:

Account and identity information

If you create an account, we collect information needed to authenticate you and sync your journey, such as:

  • Email address and account credentials (or sign-in through Google, where offered)
  • A unique user identifier assigned to your account
  • An optional display name you choose for personalized greetings (stored on your device and may sync with your account when signed in)
  • Basic account status (for example, email confirmation state)

Your journey content (local and cloud-synced)

Divine Journey lets you create and save personal content. Depending on your use, this content may be stored on your device, synced to our secure cloud database when you are signed in, or both (local storage acts as a cache for offline use while your account is the source of truth when signed in).

Examples include:

  • Quotes, affirmations, and reflections you add or save to your library
  • Personal decks and collection organization
  • Daily rituals, reflection prompts, and completion history
  • Gratitude and journal entries
  • Daily Path preferences, labels, and progress
  • App settings such as theme, reminders, and notification preferences tied to your account

If you use Divine Journey without an account, much of this content may remain on your device only until you sign in and sync, or until you uninstall the app.

Subscription and purchase information

If you subscribe to Divine Journey Premium, payment is processed by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We receive subscription status and entitlement information from those platforms (for example, whether Premium is active). We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Camera and text scanning (optional)

You may optionally use your device camera to scan printed text when adding inspiration to your library. Images are processed on your device using Google’s on-device text recognition (ML Kit). We do not upload camera images to our servers. If you save the recognized text, it is handled like other library content—stored locally and synced to your account when you are signed in.

Personalized affirmation requests

When you request a personalized affirmation, we send a minimal prompt to Google’s Gemini service (for example, your selected mood or support area). We do not send your name, email, account ID, or full journal text as part of that request. Google processes this input under its own terms and privacy policies.

Usage and analytics data

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used so we can improve Divine Journey and our website. Analytics are designed to focus on product usage patterns (for example, which features are used). We do not intentionally include journal text, spiritual entry content, or similar personal content in analytics events. PostHog may assign a device or installation identifier for analytics, including before you sign in. When you are signed in, we may associate analytics with your account’s user identifier to understand engagement over time. PostHog may also receive uncaught error and stack-trace information to help us diagnose and fix stability issues.

Diagnostics and technical data

We may collect device and app information needed to operate and improve the Service, such as:

  • App version, operating system, and general device type
  • IP address and timestamps in server logs for security and reliability

On Android, our app build may include Firebase (Google) for limited app-usage analytics and, for beta testers, app distribution. Crash and exception diagnostics are sent to PostHog as described above. These tools are not used to read your personal journal or library content.

Communications with us

If you contact support, we collect the information you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) so we can respond.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and personalize the Divine Journey experience
  • Create and sync your library, rituals, journal, and other journey data across devices when you are signed in
  • Authenticate your account and protect against fraud or abuse
  • Process Premium subscriptions and deliver entitled features
  • Generate personalized affirmations when you request them
  • Analyze anonymous or aggregated usage to improve features, stability, and design
  • Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your journal or spiritual content for advertising profiling.

4. Data Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate Divine Journey, comply with law, or with your direction. Categories of recipients include:

  • Infrastructure and database providers (for example, Supabase) that host authentication and cloud-synced account data under contractual safeguards
  • Google Gemini — only the minimal text needed to generate a personalized affirmation when you request one
  • PostHog — product analytics and crash or exception diagnostics as described above
  • Firebase (Google) — limited Android app analytics and app distribution for testers, where enabled
  • Google Play / Apple App Store — payment and subscription processing; governed by their respective policies
  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, authentication is handled according to Google’s policies
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security

We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy. We will not share your personal journey content with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your Divine Journey account and associated cloud-synced data at any time.

  • In the app: Sign in, open Account, and select Delete account.
  • On the web: Visit our account deletion page for instructions and to submit a verified request if you cannot access the app.

Delete account & data

Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, we delete your profile, sign-in access, and cloud-stored journey data from our systems. Deletion cannot be undone. If you subscribed through an app store, you may need to cancel your subscription separately in Google Play or the App Store.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure for account-backed data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your device secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can take the following steps in Divine Journey:

  • View and manage much of your content directly in the app
  • Delete your account and cloud-synced data (see Section 5)
  • Uninstall the app to remove local-only data if you never created an account
  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion assistance

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with comprehensive privacy laws, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Children’s Privacy

Divine Journey is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at divinejourney@peaqteq.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of Divine Journey after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, except where otherwise required by law.

10. Contact Us
